No abnormalities were found in the skeleton outside the hands and feet, and there were no extra-skeletal abnormalities, apart from a cardiac murmur without any E. In addition, there was shortening of the right maladifs with accelerated ossification. The diagnosis was assumed to be osseous sarcoidosis. Cystic changes were noted in the ossific nuclei and neighbouring metacarpals.
