I found Depree gives ample evidence to support his title, presenting leadership as he does with intangibles like character, service, the valuation of the worker, and the need of the leader to trust his people.
This is especially evident when he refers to them as “employee owners”. Having finished it, I can only reiterate that point. I did not think that a book on leadership could have sucked me in the way it did. Out of artt the books on leadership, this is one of the better ones.
