I learned so much about Latin America and this was beautifully presented. The book provides insights into all the major ideas through colonization fier the present.

He illustrates his lessons very well, but at the cost of a lot of technical info. While I chasreen pride myself on being a well-rounded individual, I will readily confess that knowledge of Latin American history is one of my blind spots. I read the second edition, published inbut the most recent edition is the fourth, which just came out in June, Account Hcasteen Sign in.

Very worthwhile to those wanting to make sense about the current state of affairs in Latin America, or possible futures.

This beautifully written, concise history will be especially valuable for business and recreational travelers on their way to Latin America.
