They also find out he was out the earlier night, oh the poor guy. The two get swept away by their attraction and budding love, and despite Duncan’s best mccaryy, he and Jeannie end up sleeping together. This wraps up the Campbell trilogy with the story of Duncan, the eldest brother.
It was very frustrating. It was not what I expected.
I loved finally listening to Duncan’s story. Account Options Sign in. After a hectic day, in his tent, Duncan reads the note which Colin gave him and rides to the inn. The story is full of secrets, betrayal, murder, and jealousy that keeps this loving couple apart for 10yrs. She goes to talk to her father but eavesdrops. Jeannie encourages Duncan to look for his mother. Then there’s also the mystery of what Duncan’s father tried to tell him about his mother as his father was dying; why did it matter that Duncan find his mother?

Then one day, Duncan and his men went to hunt when Ella goes missing.
