Technically since they aren’t blood related, they could have a relationship with no issue. I wasn’t familiar with the series, but I found it easy enough to pick this up and read.
Also, Connelly’s powers aren’t too over the top which is great and her character all in all is quite credible. I don’t know if this was because I had really high expectations, or because charlsine really is difficult to translate a written novel in a graphic version, but I felt like this was just an okay read.

Not only is Harper correct for all of the graves she reads, but she finds a new body that has been buried on top of an older grave.

chralaine I was sort of expecting it to go this way. Anyway, when I first began this one, I did hardis know it was the second in the series. Again, the heroine isn’t very upbeat nor is the story line. The other, a young girl, recently deceased, whom Harper had once tried, and failed, to locate. All the Little Liars. So I was thrilled to see that there were graphic novels associated with the series. Soon Charlaine was looking for another challenge, and the result was the much darker Lily Bard series.
