Open Preview See a Problem? Romance Beautifully devloped and amazing character development. I got bored and was reluctant to even return to it. There she meets Iain and also enlists the help of The Ouroboros Society – a powerful secret society dedicated to the study of reincarnation. However, the book itself was fine, I suppose. So I recommend this to you. But paradise isn’t in the cards for the soul mates. I know it gets said a lot, but Haven might be one of the stupidest and most frustrating young adult heroines I’ve ever encountered.

I say this, not …more Because in the south, family is everything and the elders are supposed to represent wisdom and is a figure of high esteem and respect. See this thread for more information. Mar 30, Romy rated it really liked it Shelves: I think this story would have worked better if Haven were an adult, one of the major flaws in this book is that at sixteen, she tries to act like she is thirty.

I say this, not only being a southerner but also because Kirsten Miller is posing Haven’s family as a traditional southern family, complete with a white picket fence.

I already ordered the first book to come so I am so excited! I love all these characters and how the story weaves it way inside and out and all around until everything is intertwined and you are not sure how it is going to all work out. She starts to wonder if Iain really cares about her or if he is trying to get rid of her. I’m also puzzled by Haven’s mother who initially acts eternnos and yet a few pages later suddenly stands kisten to grandma and then persuades Haven to pursue the truth.

Haven and Iain have been living happily ever after in Italy for the past year. He took her to Moller and then Florence and told her tales of their past life and his past but stil remaining love for her. This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers.

Let’s get onto the review, shall we? Iain has been laying low milller his assumed demise, Haven as a clothing designer with her own modest shop. Haven agrees to do the work for the Horae to save Beau’s life but she starts to have second thoughts as she digs deeper and deeper into the sisters past.

Pareciera que no pasa kiesten, cuando en realidad suceden muchas cosas. Is this all an elaborate plot by Adam designed to draw Haven closer to him. Arched brows that hovered mischievously over bright green eyes.

Add dashes of strange subplots: And was thankfully pleased.

There’s a scene in the past followed by another scene in the past but linked by the word “Now” which makes me think of the present. The dialogue was annoying and unrealistic, filled with several exclamation marks for emphasis!

The man opened it, turned on a light, and set Haven down inside the empty room. Haven looked up to see Iain Morrow peering down at her, a lopsided grin on his lovely face.

The Eternal Ones (Eternal Ones, #1) by Kirsten Miller

She sees New York City almost years ago, herself as a blonde named Constance, and a man named Ethan whom she knows is her soul mate. There was just something about him that put me off; he ordered Haven around, and sometimes shejust did as he wished. This is where things fall apart quickly.

All of you favorite characters are back and you get more thrown at you. It could have been so much more emotional, but instead the fact that they were reincarnated lovers was used to eterjos the connection between them. I loved the concept of reincarnation and love across time. Most of my enjoyment comes from characters.

In conclusion, I liked this book much, much better than I liked My Name is Memory which I have reviewed in case you are curious.

Deseos (Eternos, #2) by Kirsten Miller

Haven talks to someone who isn’t Ethan. The reincarnation element seemed like such a cheap move to pull in lieu eternso real development between Haven and Iain — they already miler each other and loved each other in a previous life as different people so why get to know each other in this life?

She also seems to be going soft towards Adam, so far as I read. I am so glad I did. He immediately whisks her away on a romantic trip to Rome, but their perfect romance is short lived. There were about 5 kirstsn covering 2 short chapters where there w I had been waiting for over a year for our library to order this book so it was with much anticipation to finally be able to delve into this mystery.

It made the love stories etefnos complex and real and since that was the major theme in the book, it was developed quite well. On the way to her hotel Haven is chased by mysterious gray men reminded me of Momo. Me mantuvo en suspenso todo el tiempo.

The only way to do that is to run away to New York and find Iain and see if he is really Ethan – and what that means for her life. The mysterious society that is after these two is actually quite compelling and Miller does a good job of keeping the mystery going, you are never really sure who is a danger to Haven and who is a friend. Haven has grown up in a very strict Christian home.

And the whole gay best friend thing was so utterly contrived and stereotypical, it made me want to curb stomp the book as well. She’l Haven and Iain have been living happily ever after in Italy for the past year.
