Of course Dave sort of gets in over his head, and yes, he upsets the official investigating team, and yes again, he and his wife Madeline are in peril about halfway through, and yes, this one has layers and layers and layers But the fact it’s Dave Gurney investigating lightens jonn load, somewhat. I have really taken a liking to these Dave Gurney books.
