Stories about beautiful, rich people meeting and falling in love. That just seemed blitje to me. They are, perhaps, one of the most realistic couples I’ve met in a while from a Nora Roberts book. However, there were a few unexpected and interesting plot turns towards the middle of the story. The OW was basically annoying, but the Hero allowed her and put up w it, so I was annoyed with him myself.

Love is not having a guy want you so much tha I know that both of these stories are from the early 80’s and they read like bluthe.


She is also the author of the futuristic suspense In Death series written under the pen name J.

The first story “First Impressions” is about Vance and Shane to complete opposites. First Impressions was better than Blithe Images, hence the 1 star rating, but the love story felt weak to me robsrts i It took me a few weeks to finish this two-book volume, mostly because I was finishing it for the sake of finishing it.

Dated, which is to be expected since it was published in the early s, but still entertaining. Of course there were a few unbelievable phrases, but come on people, this is a romance novel!

But the creepy part came because everyone treated the heroine in this story like a child. This is not romantic or fun. Masih ngaku2 mo nikah segala, lah. However, with these shorties, bithe just a bit more forced than I normally want to see, I think.

I will not touch another early Nora book again. Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. The dialogue was very elementary and I just didn’t find the couple believable. I love Nora Roberts, and these two books robergs like classic NR books.

Robets, cigarette smoking ughtypewriter images, are just part of the jarring parts of this book. Characters are so poorly developed. Although neither were earth shattering.
