CD/DVD Label Templates

I use Open Office, and somehow the mailing label template got screwed up and I couldn’t fix it. Who is online Users browsing this forum: I’m try to design some new business cards and I’m using Avery Clean Edge Business card and it would be so much easier if I had the Template to design in Photoshop instead of Microsoft word.

I’m going to print up CD labels for my buddies new Album. Please don’t tell me to print one disc, then put the sheet back in the printer, reversed, and print the bottom label. You sir, are the anti-dote to shitty Avery software. Thanks so much for all your hard work! Sure enough, it printed only one disc, not two. You have to re-insert the paper to do that. Just tell me how to edit two different discs at one time like MS does. I love your commentary at the beginning We’re cautioned not to print a sheet twice. Actually it did work for Macs too. I bought the CD labels from Avery but it only came with some bullshit software that I would have to install on my computer. That’s because one disc needs to be labeled Disc 1, the other disc labeled Disc 2.

So I poked around the Internet and found a zip file with the labels I needed on the Adobe Exchange, of course you have to have an account to download the file.

You’re right, you have to have an account to download the file, and it is crap I cringed when I opened the template for Word and realized it’d be much easier to do custom labels with Photoshop. Am using an HP printer. And I wonder why what we see on the monitor isn’t the same as what we send to the printer.

Saved me from having to create that gay Adobe account. You’ll know exactly the design area to work within and how to format the page for perfect printing. The ability to print two different labels on the same sheet at the same time would be a feature suggestion for a future update. I opened in photoshop and don’t see any guides. This was dead simple. Would seem I should be able to edit both discs individually. Let me guess, The crappy 891 that came with the labels wasn’t even mac compatible? That is seriously retarded, I never install that aery crap, I just work around it: Hilarious, I made that same hand gesture when I landed on the avery page. Thanks for the link. Heck, MS Word and Publisher let aver do that, and Acoustica’s dedicated labeling program should be better than them, right? Also, business cards might be a little easier since they are square you can set your document to dpi and make the size 8.
