I have the Complete Necromancers book, and I noticed the similar names, but I was not aware of the chronology and relationship. Second Edition products are afflicted with a fetish for standardized presentation, and Cities of Bone is no different. Half the text makes up the adventure, “Court of the Necromancers”, where in the undead city of Ysawis, the player characters get involved in the intrigues of a couple of repugnant wizards and a senile lich.

This page was last edited on 31 Mayat Steve Martini Hardcover Books. The map itself has a few places listed which are important such as where the ruler and lords of the city reside, most of the rest of map is left pretty much blank in detail enabling you to fill or areas as you desire.
All were animated by the necromancers. I love the idea of a desert land strewn with ruins, though if I ran this myself I would probably make it more culturally neutral rather than use all the custom classes and spells which are mostly detailed in other products anyways. The set really gives you a good feel of what a strange yet multicultural place the City of Brass can be.
