All that being said, I did see potential in Finley and ctoss interested in the plot line itself–once she got around to it. Crods think preteens and younger teenagers would probably enjoy this book, but a young adult reader may be wishing for a little more story instead of just vivid descriptions of what everyone was wearing Griffin’s is an acceptable narrative because it complements Finley’s nicely, but Sam’s adds absolutely nothing to the reading experience except an increased apathy for the part-robot.
