Like most of you, my first impressions of Darcy wasn’t that great. I was able to read this book in two sittings.

This movie reminded me that we all have choices in life about what makes us happy and we can only blame ourselves if we deny our true desires because we feel we are not deserving Rachel or if we are aggressive and abusing others in order to achieve it Darcy. Darcy is self-centered and Rachel is weak and insecure, their friendship seemed one-sided and bitter resentments had been built up on Rachel’s part, but I think that’s what the story about those two made it very relatable.
